PristineBlue is a totally chlorine-free powerful bacteria and algae suppressant used instead of chlorine or bromine to sanitize the water in swimming pools and spas. The active ingredient is copper sulphate which is EU Notified as a biocide and disinfectant permitted for use in both public and private pools throughout Europe. Unlike previous copper-based products which could cause pool surface staining, the copper in the PristineBlue complex is bonded to a unique chemically inert carrier which keeps it fully dissolved in the water and biologically active, it will not crytallize or precipitate out of solution. Under normal conditions repeat dosing to pool water is required just once a fortnight.

Water sanitized using PristineBlue will not cause sore eyes, will not rot swim suits or pool liners, does not form cancer-causing chlorinating by-products (trihalomethanes), is not known to cause any adverse reaction by people suffering with common skin and/or respiratory conditions such as asthma or eczema, does not chemically dry skin and hair and is not ozone depleting. Bathing is allowed just 15 minutes after dosing any PristineBlue system products thereby significantly reducing pool maintenance down-time and we estimate disinfectant cost saving compared with using chlorine granules and tablets of up to 25% over a 12 month period.

No changes are needed to the pool circulation and filtration system providing they are working efficiently and pool water does not need to be changed. Converting to use PristineBlue can be done at any time and normally takes less than 48 hours to complete.

PristineBlue Copper must be stored at temperatures above 0 Degrees C to avoid freezing.
